"Michael Manuel is a stalwart of the American theatre both as an actor and a teacher. His skills are rooted in a deep understanding of what makes great theatre; teamwork, craft, care and support of every aspect of the process…from page to stage. He is also an inspiration. His energy and love for the work fill these pages as they fill any rehearsal room or stage he graces”
Alfred Molina, Actor
“Michael Manuel is a talented and compelling theatre artist. He is a gifted actor and an insightful acting coach. He can help you become a better actor.”
Jerry Zaks, Director
“Michael is an extraordinary artist. He elevates the rehearsal rooms he is in and always brings the highest standard of artistic excellence. I’ve seen firsthand the significant impact of his work on our theater and audiences.”
Danny Feldman,
Artistic Director Pasadena Playhouse
"Michael Manuel is one of those people who could rightly be called, “an actor’s actor”, but that phrase simply wouldn’t be enough to capture his talents, because it’s a joy to hire him, to direct him, to watch him work a costume, and to witness him putting the play on his back and carrying it when that’s just what it needs. I love working with him and would do so again in a heartbeat!"
James Bundy, Artistic Director Yale Repertory Theatre
